We're lucky enough to get four distinct seasons here in Toronto. But while I love chunky sweaters, apple cider, and all the trappings of the season, I don't go all out with my fall decor. The older I get, the more I find myself craving less 'stuff'. I like to keep nightstands fairly simple and clear of clutter.

Abby:
I feel so guilty I was impressionable when my mother would tell me bad things about my Dad after they divorced. Is this normal for all kids?

Abby:
I know a real little kid (like age 5) can't help but to believe but I was in my junior high years and still believing my mother's crap.

Abby:
Is it normal for a kid to be impressionable at ages 10-16 or should I have been able to see my mother was lying?

Abby:
I feel so guilty now that he has died (I am 28) that I went 5 or 6 years not liking him because I believed my mother that he didn't want to be close to me and that he liked me but didn't love me.

Abby:
I believed everything she said between ages 12 and 15. Then I realized she was lying (I was 10 when they divorced). When my Dad remarried I got closer (16 at this point) and am close now.

Abby:
He liked us but didn't love us or want to be close.

Abby:
Like she told me when he divorced her he left all of us and was no longer our Dad even if our father still.

Abby:
I am growing up now and realized how wrong she was.
